1.We believe in God the Father. There is one, and only one, living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual and personal being; the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. God is all powerful and all knowing; His perfect knowledge extends to all things past, present and future, including the future decisions of His free creatures. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence and obedience. The eternal tribune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit with distinct personal attributes but without division of nature, essence or being.
2.We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and He lived a sinless life. He offered Himself as the one and only sacrifice for the sins of the world by dying on the cross. He rose from the dead three days later and showed His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven and will return again to earth to reign as King.
3.We believe in the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that shows people the need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit testifies that Jesus is alive and lives in every person from the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit enables the Christian to worship and lead in all truth, wisdom and knowledge.
4.We believe the Bible is the inerrant and infallible word of God. The Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to all people. The Bible is true without any error. The Bible gives divine instruction for Christian beliefs and living.
5.We believe people are separated from God by sin and our only hope is salvation through Jesus Christ. Our only hope is God’s free gift of salvation through Jesus’ death on the cross. When we repent of our sin, place our faith in Jesus and surrender to Jesus as Lord we are saved. There is no salvation apart from Christ.
6. We believe that everyone will spend eternity either in heaven or in hell. Jesus promised to return and His return will be personal and visible. The dead in Christ will be raised and Christ will judge all people. Those who have accepted Christ as Savior and Lord will spend eternity in heaven. Those who reject Christ will spend eternity in hell. Heaven and hell are real places.
7.We believe that all Christians are expected to be involved in a local church. A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers. Jesus Christ is the head of the church, governed by His laws; exercising the gifts, rights and privileges invested in them by His Word; and seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth.
8.We believe God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one biological man born as a male and one biological woman born as a female in covenant commitment for a lifetime. The husband and wife are of equal worth before God since both are created in God’s image. Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. Parents are to demonstrate to their children God’s pattern for marriage. Parents are to teach their children spiritual and moral values and to lead them, through consistent lifestyle example and loving discipline, to make choices based on biblical truth. Children are to honor and obey their parents.
9.We believe that Christians should live by God’s standards. In the spirit of Christ, Christians should oppose racism, every form of greed, selfishness and vice; and all forms of sexual immorality including adultery, homosexuality and pornography. We should work to provide for the orphaned, the needy, the abused, the aged, the helpless and the sick. We should speak on behalf of the unborn and contend for the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death. Every Christian should seek to bring industry, government and society as a whole under the sway of the principles of righteousness, truth and brotherly love.
